After working on various construction projects for ten years, Matthew Winter graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in May 2000 with a Bachelors of Architecture. Growing up in California and Colorado, he always knew he would return West following his brief sojourn on the East Coast. Subsequent to the extreme shock from his immersion in Southern culture, moving to San Diego seemed an ample remedy and he has been working in the Architecture field since. After three years working on diverse projects ranging from community housing, commercial and industrial projects, single family homes, and telecommunications facilities he joined Davis Davis Architects in the Spring of 2004. He holds a California license to practice architecture.
